Everyone raves about Amalfi’s exotic beaches and awesome views … but nobody talks about the nightlife. Spoiler alert: the fun does not stop when the sun sets. The Amalfi Coast has great clubs and wild party spots that move all night long. There is more to the coastline than just sunbathing and sightseeing. Let’s dive into the nightlife that everyone forgets to talk about when mentioning Amalfi:
Music on the Rocks is the Amalfi Coast’s most beloved nightclub. This venue is literally a sea cave – yup, party right inside the Positano cliffs. The atmosphere is unmatched. World-class DJs light up the dance floors until 4 AM, playing a mix of house, pop, and sing-along classics. Drinks are exotic, and the energy is electric. There is no strict dress code, but we strongly recommend wearing upscale clothing. Drink the pain of your sunburn away at Music on the Rocks, seriously, it is the place to be.
The L’Incanto Ocean Bar is where beach vibes meet nightlife thrills. It's right on Positano’s waterfront, so enjoy a drink just a few steps from the ocean. This place is known for its sunset views, elegant cocktails, and great energy. Whether it's live music or DJ sets, the music is always bumping. You can get on the dancefloor or take it easy by the firepit with toes in the sand and a drink in hand – the option is all yours. Plus, it is a great place to meet other students.
The Filou Club may be a piano bar during the day, but once night falls, it transforms into a cozy nightclub. Located right in the heart of Sorrento, it is a few steps away from Piazza Tasso. This club has the coolest cocktails and is always jamming with students. If live music is not making the dance floor jump, then a DJ will be mixing the night away. Wear something nice and enjoy Filou until they close at 5 AM, then watch the sunrise before napping the day away on the beach.
The Masaniello Art Café is a jumping spot in the heart of Amalfi. Don’t let the name fool you. It’s got vibrant decorations, a diverse drink menu, and tasteful music. Expect a young crowd and a lively atmosphere. Masaniello is a very popular café for both tourists and locals – a must-visit if you want to immerse yourself in Amalfi culture. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the vibes are super inviting. They usually host themed parties, so check out the schedule on their Instagram.
Gerry’s Pub is a charming place to get a late-night drink in Pogerola. The friendly and inviting atmosphere makes this pub beloved by locals. You have to check out the terrace view; it’s jaw-dropping. Go on a Wednesday or a Saturday, and they’ll have live music. Drinks are inexpensive, and the crowd is always fun-loving. Gerry’s is a coastline staple.
Even though everybody forgets to mention it, the Amalfi Coast has great nightlife and offers plenty to do after sunset. Once you wash the sunscreen off, the good times are just starting. Between cave raves, beachfront discos, and piano bars turned nightclubs, the coastline knows how to party.
