The day you join. You do not get in when you land, you get in when you start planning. The earlier you join, the more weekends we can actually help with.
Yes. Start with Access and you can add Protected, which is the medical and emergency support piece, anytime before or during your semester.

You'll get the most value by signing up before you go abroad. The pre-abroad price is our lowest, and your membership runs from the day you join until the end of your semester, so the earlier you're in, the more weekends and questions we can help with. Before you even land we can help you plan early trips, figure out logistics, and start sorting roommates and must-do weekends with your friends. We can also help with any pre-abroad stuff you need like packing, insurance, and more.
Most students use us for light support: ideas, reality checks, and help booking a few key things, not a super rigid, hour-by-hour itinerary. We’ll point you to the right moves and, when it makes sense, help you lock in the important stuff so your weekend actually happens. If you really want everything handled, we can plan and book a full weekend for you, but that’s the exception, not the default.
Travel agencies and big group trip companies charge you to package an entire weekend or break for you. Flextrip is different: we’re with you all semester, across every trip, and we don’t upcharge you on some giant "all-in" package. You and your friends still pick where you want to go. We make sure you’re choosing the right things, getting better prices through our partners, and not wasting money or time on bad calls.
We don’t make money by adding hidden fees on top of your trips. Instead, we partner with trusted activity providers, nightlife spots, and other travel companies in the main abroad cities. When our members book with them, they give us a cut out of their side for sending students their way, so you get the same or better price than if you found it yourself. Because we work with a lot of students across a semester, those small partner fees add up for us without costing you extra. You save money using your discounts and better options. Our partners get more students. We earn from the partnership. Everyone actually wins.
Yes. Most members make their money back fast between discounts, a few key activities we help them book, and avoiding at least one or two expensive mistakes. Even if you stay in your home city some weekends, you’re still getting ongoing support, help with the bigger trips you do take, and someone to lean on when something goes sideways.
